So it's 2009 now. I just know I'm gonna fuck up and write 07 08 on future documents though.
Everyone's New Year celebration was good? I had a fun time with a few peeps, gaming and nerding and all.
It's actually kind of a good thing that my break was cut too short for me to work this time around. I'm keeping my time off stress-free, random, and enjoyable, which is exactly what I wanted.
Oh, and I forgot to mention it before, but I picked up a copy of Persona 4.
My main character's name... Jalapeno Hotstuff.

I'm really surprised there's no Cs in there. Considering I barely put any work into Digital Multimedia, didn't do a final presentation and never gave her my field notes in Observing Humans, usually had something go wrong that was out of my control in Film, had a Computer Animation teacher that just generally didn't like me, and a Narrative Cinema teacher who grades like a grammar Nazi in a glass in which no grammar is taught, I was just generally expecting grades to look a bit lower than they do. Oh, and animation, which I was never expecting to walk out of with an A in the beginning of the semester.
Not sure if they're deserved or not, but I'll take 'em. |

Sonic Unleashed is the most fun I've had with a video game in fucking years. Chris, Steve and I played the 360 demo for nearly four hours. It is only one level.
Seriously, fuck any shit reviews you see about it. When we first played it, our minds were blown on how fast we went, and that was before we discovered the dash button. All we did was just keep playing that level, putting awesome songs in the background to pump us up, in an attempt to beat our best times. We just finished with my score holding our current record of 2:24.9 seconds.

This year I've been busy!
Last Monday I punched ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) eijis in the arm (-10 points). Last month I helped cynical_eyes hide a body (-173 points). Last Saturday I put money in aestivalous's expired parking meter (14 points). Last Friday I had a shoot-out with rival gang lords on the 5 near LA (-76 points). In November I ruled Duluth, Minnesota as a cruel and heartless dictator (-700 points).
Overall, I've been naughty (-945 points). For Christmas I deserve a moldy sandwich!

You know my Toast animation, right? Well it was recommended to be a part of the animation website, aniBoom's, animation contest.
So I entered it!
A big part of the contest is through views and ratings, so if you'd get the chance, I'd really appreciate it if you could swing on by my entry to see and/or rate it.
I'm really late in the game in terms of submissions. The submitting and rating dates are from September 15-December 1st, and I just put mine up the other day. I'd just be happy if more people got to see and enjoy it at this point, in all of its weird simplistic charm.
