music: Monochrome - Covenant
Sooo I won't be setting up in Otakon's Artist's Alley. Their registration info is up, I read it, and it states that you need an Exhibitor's Affidavit (license) in order to sell. Considering Otakon is the only convention I can attend that requires this, I find it to be a waste of money.

I'm still registered and with a hotel room for the con, though, so I'll be going for teh funz and enjoymentz.

Looks like Orochimaru will be making another appearance. Does anyone here want to do a photoshoot of the costume for me at the convention? You know you want toooooo~ ;p

My life is filled with win.

Anko and Kristen came over today. We went out to get sushi, but when we were finished the weather was still so nice that we decided to just wander the city tonight.

I took them to the parking garage because they had never been there, then from the view started talking about apartments we saw and would live in. There was one a ways away by Ritenhouse park, so we left the parking garage and trekked over to see. It looked to be ridiculously out of our price range, but that's irrelevant to this story.

Anyway, Anko said she was still hungry, so we decided to walk over to The Gallery (teh mallz) and get something from the food court if it was still open. The Gallery is on Market and 11th, so we made our way to Market and started walking down it, descending to 11th.

When we hit City Hall, we ran into the beginning of a group of people chanting "O-ba-ma!" It turns out there was a Barack Obama rally that day that we hadn't heard about. It was traveling in the direction from where we came, so we were walking against the rally.

It was longer than we had expected. Right when we'd think the group of people was over, we'd be hit with another sign-bearing wave, most likely due to crossing streets. This continued all the way to 11th, when we were within feet of The Gallery's entrance.

We started to hear sirens from in front of us and thought, "Oh, so are there police now?" and there was, but there was a van behind the police car.

And inside the van, on the passenger side, was a smiling, waving, Barack Obama.

The Gallery was closed.
